Seasonal vegetables on Ærø

Just outside Marstal, Sune and Marianne grow seasonal vegetables at Nyttehaven Marstal. The selection follows the changing seasons and depends on what is ready to harvest.

Some of the vegetables make their way to cafés and restaurants across Ærø, where they become part of the island’s local food experiences. What is harvested changes throughout the season, and so does the selection.

Taste the season

Nyttehaven grows a variety of vegetables, and as a visitor to Ærø, you can enjoy the harvest too. At Nyttehaven’s roadside stall, vegetables are sold directly from the farm when they are ready to harvest.

If you are staying on Ærø for a longer period, you can also order a vegetable box. The contents vary with the seasons, giving you a selection of ingredients for your holiday kitchen.

If you would like to follow what is growing and being harvested at Nyttehaven, you can follow Nyttehaven Marstal on Facebook or Nyttehaven Marstal on Instagram
