Right next to the popular Marstal Maritime Museum is a house dating from 1791. Here you will find Your Design Nordic - a silversmith's workshop with its own workshop and foundry.
Pia Christensen designs and manufactures jewellery inspired by life on Ærø and in close dialogue with you as a customer. The jewellery is both handmade and cast using the old "lost wax" method, also known as Cire Perdue. This gives shape and details that make each piece of jewellery special. She designs for customers in Denmark and abroad and also casts for other designers and goldsmiths.
You can also have your ears and nose pierced and your own jewellery restored at Pia and Your Design Nordic.
Come in and experience the exhibition, workshop and foundry. Here you can discuss your ideas and follow the process up close.
Pia's workshop is generally open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 13:00 to 17:00, as well as the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 to 13:00, and otherwise by appointment.
